Everllence has secured an order to supply eight compressor trains for a new floating production, storage and offloading (FPSO) vessel being built for offshore Angola, expanding its presence in the offshore gas compression market.

The FPSO is being constructed by Yantai CIMC Raffles for Azule Energy, a joint venture between bp and Eni. The project is Yantai CIMC Rafflesfirst complete FPSO delivered as an engineering, procurement, construction, installation and commissioning (EPCIC) contractor and reflects the increasing role of Chinese shipyards in executing large offshore production projects.

The order includes four centrifugal compressor trains and four process gas screw compressor skids for onboard gas processing and export. Everllence said the equipment is designed to meet the reliability and efficiency requirements of offshore production facilities operating in demanding environments.

The centrifugal compressor trains will be manufactured at the companys Zurich, Switzerland, facility and include three electrically driven export gas compressors and one high-pressure compressor. Each train will be equipped with variable frequency drives to provide operational flexibility and optimize process performance.

The process gas screw compressor skids will be produced at Everllences Oberhausen, Germany, facility. Each skid will incorporate two compressor units for gas processing applications.

The project also includes Everllences Digital Convoy Package, which provides digital monitoring capabilities intended to improve operational transparency and support lifecycle performance of the compressor systems.

Delivery of the eight compressor trains is scheduled for May 2027.

Company officials said the contract marks Everllences first collaboration with Yantai CIMC Raffles and strengthens its position in the global FPSO market, where demand for reliable gas compression systems continues to grow alongside offshore oil and gas developments.
